Roomba review site provides information on iRobots line of vacuuming robots. The Roomba vacuum first made it’s appearance on the market in 2002. Since then it has become a standard house hold appliance in millions of homes around the world. Created by the company iRobot, the Roomba vacuum has constantly been improved upon since it was released. It has been improved through three separate generations. While still effective, the first generation of iRobot Vacuum identified a number of shortcomings that needed to be addressed. Many of these issues were corrected in the second generation know as the discovery series. The third generation is iRobots most effective and advanced generation. It is made up of the 500, 600, and 700 series of Roomba Vacuums. Our Roomba Reviews will focus primarily on the third generation of vacuum.

Benefits – Roomba Review
The Roomba is hands down the easiest vacuum to use. You can vacuum an entire room by doing nothing more than pressing the start button on your vacuum and letting it do all the rest. The vacuum requires no other input from the users. It will begin vacuuming the floor and won’t stop until it has finished with the room. It uses it’s own special technology that allows it to “map out” the room so that it knows when the entire room has been vacuumed.
Stairs, ledges, and walls are no problem for the Roomba. It’s special technology allows it to identify the edges of drop offs so that it doesn’t end up falling down the stairs. It then uses that information to continue plotting it’s course around the room. A similar method is used to identify walls. Once a wall has been identified to Roomba uses it’s special rotating brushes to clean in the corners of the walls and floor, ensuring that no space is left unclean.
If you have different types of flooring in your home it’s not a problem. The Roomba vacuum can identify different types of floor and adjust itself accordingly. The Roomba can go from hardwood flooring, to bur carpet, to normal carpet with no problems what so ever. This allows the Roomba Vacuum to clean your entire house not just certain rooms.
The more advanced Roomba vacuums have additional features that allow for easier house keeping. In my opinion, one of the most beneficial features of the Roomba is the scheduler function. It allows you to input up to 7 different times through out the week that you want the Roomba to do it’s cleaning. Using this feature you can tell your iRobot vacuum to clean the house during times you are away. After setting the schedule you don’t have to do anything. Your floor will always be clean. Don’t worry about your Roomba running out of batteries while it’s cleaning. The third generation Roomba directs itself to a charging station when it’s batteries get low. These scheduling and self charging features make the Roomba iRobot a truly automated floor cleaning system.
The Roomba vacuum can access many areas that we can not. Due to it’s low height the roomba can clean areas of the floor that can not be accessed by other vacuums. Under neath furniture or beds is no problem for the Roomba. The areas will be cleaned along with everything else.
So how well does the iRobot Vacuum really work? Surprisingly well is how most people respond. While the Roomba does not clean as well as many of the high end vacuums on the market today. It does clean as well as the middle of the line vacuums. When you consider the added benefits of not actually having to do the vacuuming yourself, the Roomba offers a tremendous amount of value when compared to it’s cost.
